Shipping
You must be 21 years of age to purchase alcohol. California Wine Worx makes no claims or representations concerning the laws in other states regarding shipping or importation of wines and all buyers assume all risk with regards to this service. All wines are sold in California and title passes to you in California.
As per our preferred carrier (UPS) the following are the U.S states California Wine Worx will currently ship to (direct to consumer):
AK, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, LA, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OR, SC, WA, WV, WI, WY
As per our preferred carrier (UPS) the following are the U.S states California Wine Worx will currently ship to licensed consignees:
AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NV, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV, WI, WY
Other restrictions may apply, such as quantity limits, limits on frequency of shipments, and shipments to certain areas within a state (such as dry or damp jurisdictions).
An adult signature is required upon delivery. An acceptable form of government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, passport, military identification, or alien registration card is required. Also, UPS will not deliver any shipment to intoxicated individuals.
Due to many of these requirements we recommend shipping to a business address. Alcohol can not be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
We at California Wine Worx, will do our best to ship within 24-72 hours of orders being placed. However, we do not stock all items on site. Orders placed on Thursday through the weekend will be shipped the following Tuesday, barring inventory outages or backorders. In the case of inventory changes the customer will be notified.
Weather:
Exposure to heat and cold can have an adverse affect on wine. Please contact us if you have any weather concerns and we will explore your options. UPS does not insure weather related damages. California Wine Worx is not responsible for weather damaged items and recommends holding orders or next day shipping options. (Please call 805-264-0711 to arrange for Next Day shipments)
